Job summary

You will drive AI-enabled engineering practices, oversee SDLC automation, ensure secure data handling, and deliver data‑intensive applications using cloud-native platforms.

Collaborate with stakeholders, meet compliance standards, and guide teams to align with business objectives across the firm.

Qualifications

• Proven end-to-end delivery of data products using Python and Spark.
• Experience building data-intensive software applications.
• Experience managing technologists and teams.
• Leadership in responsible AI adoption across engineering teams.
• Understanding of governance, resiliency and security in AI-enabled workflows.
• Strong SDLC knowledge and agile practices (CI/CD, security, resiliency).
• Experience in cloud-native architectures within financial services.

Responsibilities

• Provides guidance to the software engineers on daily tasks and outputs.
• Sets expectations for team output, practices, and collaboration.
• Leads adoption of enterprise AI-assisted engineering to improve delivery speed and quality.
• Uses SDLC/toolchain knowledge to enhance automation and capacity initiatives.
• Anticipates dependencies with other teams to deliver products aligned with business needs.
• Manages stakeholder relationships within compliance and SLAs.
