Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and advanced applied experience.
• Hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
• Advanced Java and Typescript experience.
• Experience using enterprise AI-assisted software development tools with guidance on validating AI outputs for correctness, performance, and security.
• Strong understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows, including data sensitivity and secure handling of inputs/outputs.

Responsibilities

• Leads the engineering of cutting-edge solutions in metadata, meta-modelling and distributed systems.
• Provides technical guidance to business and technical teams, contractors, and vendors.
• Develops secure, high-quality production code and reviews code written by others.
• Drives AI-assisted engineering practices across teams to improve code quality, delivery speed, and operational outcomes with measurable standards.
• Applies SDLC tools and AI-assisted development capabilities to improve value realized by automation at scale.
• Influences product design, functionality, and technical operations.
• Acts as a function-wide SME and contributes to firmwide frameworks and practices of the SDLC.
