Job summary

J.P. Morgan is seeking a hands-on software engineer to design, develop, and operationalize AI-enabled software solutions. You will work with product managers and data strategy to advance the firm's AI for data agenda and deliver secure, production-grade code.

You will lead and participate in code reviews, champion CI/CD, cloud-native practices, and ensure resilience and security across the SDLC while adopting enterprise AI-assisted engineering tools.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience delivering system design, development, testing, and operational stability.
• Strong Python architecture and development skills; containerized environments.
• Experience leading AI-assisted development tools with validation for correctness, performance, and security.
• Proficient in SDLC and agile methodologies including CI/CD, resiliency, and security.
• Practical cloud native experience.

Responsibilities

• Executes creative software solutions and troubleshooting, thinking beyond routine approaches.
• Collaborates with product managers and data strategy to advance AI for Data.
• Develops secure, production-grade code and reviews code written by others.
• Drives adoption of enterprise AI-assisted engineering practices to improve quality and speed.
