Job summary

Plymouth-based Senior Engineer role with a Tier 1 civil contractor. Lead and mentor site engineers on multidisciplinary civil, marine, defence and major infrastructure projects in Plymouth.

You will oversee RAMS, ITPs and QA, manage setting out and surveying, ensure quality, and support planning and procurement within a strong construction team. The ideal candidate has a civil engineering degree, 3–5 years civils experience, proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office, and a full UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of civils, infrastructure or marine experience.
• Strong quality management and construction methodology knowledge.
• Proficient with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
• Confident communicator able to challenge designs and solve problems.
• Full UK driving licence.

• Manage dimensional control, site setting out and survey activities.

I’m currently supporting a Tier 1 civil engineering contractor on a long-term, high-profile project in Plymouth, and we’re looking for an experienced Senior Engineer to join the growing site team. This is an excellent opportunity to take a leading role in delivering complex, multidisciplinary engineering works across defence, maritime, energy and major infrastructure.
