Job summary

Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Senior ER Advisor to join the Employee Relations Team on a part-time, hybrid basis. You will manage a varied caseload, including investigations, hearings and absence management, while advising line managers and senior leaders across Sussex.

Demonstrated experience in complex ER cases and knowledge of UK employment law is essential. CIPD qualification is desirable; NHS experience is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Experience managing complex employee relations cases.
• Experience in a unionised environment desirable.
• Strong knowledge of UK employment legislation.
• Ability to work to clear timescales and manage own workload.

Responsibilities

• Provide frontline ER advice to line managers and senior leaders.
• Lead or participate in disciplinary, grievance and dignity at work investigations.
• Apply best ER practice to manage caseload and minimise escalations.
• Contribute to policy development and process improvement.
• Travel across Sussex as required; hybrid working model.
