Job summary

EY is seeking an ER Advisor to join the Birmingham HR team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. You will provide high-quality employee relations guidance to managers on absence, disciplinary and performance matters, ensuring cases are managed in line with employment law and EY policy.

Qualifications

• At least two years’ professional HR experience, ideally in a large corporate organisation.
• Strong knowledge of employment law and HR processes.
• Experience in employee relations case management.
• Ability to manage a large caseload and meet SLAs.
• Experience and ability to manage customer relationships in a service delivery environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality advice on HR queries, including performance, absence and grievance management.
• Manage and prioritise a caseload in line with SLAs and EY policies.
• Escalate complex queries to the HR Manager and determine an appropriate course of action while maintaining service levels.
• Record case updates in HR systems and track cases through to closure and client resolution.
• Build trusted relationships with the business and work closely with the wider Employee Relations team.
• Stay up to date with process changes to ensure advice remains accurate and appropriate.
• Contribute to wider HR projects and initiatives as required.
