Job summary

EY in Birmingham is looking for an ER Advisor to join our HR team. You will provide high‑quality employee relations guidance to managers on absence, disciplinary, grievance and performance issues, ensuring cases are handled in line with employment law and EY policy.

• At least two years’ professional HR experience.
• Strong knowledge of employment law and HR processes.
• Experience in employee relations case management.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality advice on HR queries including absence, disciplinary, grievance and performance management.
• Manage employee relations cases in line with EY policies and employment law.
• Escalate complex queries to the HR Manager as appropriate.
• Record updates in HR systems promptly and accurately.
• Build trusted relationships with the business and work with the ER team.
