Job summary

Vertage Inc. is seeking an experienced HR Advisor (Employee Relations) in London to join the People Team. This hybrid role supports a diverse workforce with expert ER guidance and pragmatic problem solving.

You will manage complex ER matters, advise on disciplinary and absence issues, and contribute to organisational change projects, including restructures and TUPE processes, while coaching managers to improve capability.

Qualifications

• Significant experience leading complex Employee Relations casework independently.
• Strong redundancy management experience including consultation and change activity.
• Practical experience supporting TUPE transfers from planning through to implementation.
• Excellent knowledge of UK employment legislation.
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
• Ability to balance multiple priorities while delivering high-quality advisory service.
• CIPD qualification or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience supporting diverse worker populations across multiple business units.

Responsibilities

• Manage a broad range of Employee Relations cases from start to finish.
• Advise on disciplinary, grievance, performance, absence management and flexible working matters.
• Support organisational change initiatives, including restructures and redundancies.
• Provide expert guidance on TUPE transfers and consultation processes.
• Lead end-to-end ACAS early conciliation cases with COT3 agreements.
• Build relationships with managers and stakeholders to drive positive ER outcomes.
• Deliver practical, legally compliant advice aligned with employment law and company policies.
• Support manager capability through coaching and training.
