Job summary

Totum Partners in Birmingham seeks an experienced HR & Employee Relations Advisor to manage a varied ER caseload, including complex performance, capability, disciplinary, grievance and restructure matters. You will advise managers and partners, balancing employment law, risk and commercial considerations, while producing clear case documentation.

The role also involves coaching managers, using ER data to identify trends, supporting organisational change and improving HR policies and processes

Qualifications

• Must have strong experience managing complex ER caseloads including performance, capability, disciplinary and grievance matters.
• Solid knowledge of UK employment law and case law.
• Ability to advise and challenge senior stakeholders with clear written communication.

Responsibilities

• Manage ER cases from initial advice through to resolution.
• Coach managers and junior HR colleagues.
• Use ER data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Support organisational change and wider people projects.
