Lumai is seeking an experienced embedded software engineer to own the software that powers our accelerator. You will write and maintain Linux kernel drivers and bare-metal code, plus RTOS-based control tasks, and bring up new hardware revisions from clock tree to first boot.

You will work on custom silicon with no reference design, using JTAG, scopes, and logic analyzers to diagnose issues. Join a small, cross-disciplinary team building the next-gen optical AI hardware.

Competenze

• Five or more years of embedded software in C/C++ on production hardware.
• Proven experience writing Linux device drivers: character, platform or PCIe.
• Hands-on BSP bring-up on custom hardware, from schematic review to OS boot.
• Strong RTOS understanding: scheduling, inter-task communication, memory protection.
• Proficiency with hardware debugging tools: JTAG/SWD, oscilloscopes and logic analyzers.

Mansioni

• Develop and maintain device drivers for Lumai's accelerator across Linux kernel and bare-metal environments.
• Write and debug firmware for the control and management processors alongside the main accelerator die.
• Lead BSP bring-up on new hardware revisions: clock tree, interrupt routing, peripheral init.
• Implement RTOS-based control tasks with deterministic scheduling and safe resource management.
• Validate bring-up with hardware engineers using JTAG debugging, oscilloscope analysis and logic capture.
• Set coding standards, review practices and testing methodology for the embedded team.
