Job summary

Nu Quantum Ltd. in Cambridge, UK, is seeking an experienced Senior Electronics Engineer to join our electronics team, shaping quantum networking hardware from concept to lab testing and deployment.

You will design, build and test prototype systems, collaborating with mechanical, software, FPGA, optics, and physics teams to meet ambitious specifications and enable fast, scalable quantum networking across our projects.

Qualifications

• Degree-level qualification in electronics, physics or related subject.
• Experience with analogue electronic design.
• Experience with PCB design tools and DF(M) processes.
• Knowledge of high-frequency/RF circuit design.

Responsibilities

• Architect electronics designs and specifications with cross-disciplinary teams.
• Design, build and test prototypes in the lab.
• Create schematics, system designs and PCB layouts.
• Organise prototype manufacture and testing.
• Analyse experimental results and advise on timescales and costs.
