Nu Quantum Ltd. is seeking a Senior Electronics Engineer in Cambridge to design high-performance analogue and mixed-signal circuitry for quantum networking hardware. You will work with mechanical, software, FPGA, optics, and physics teams from concept through lab testing to deployment.

The role involves prototyping, testing, and tuning electronics to meet ambitious specifications, collaborating across disciplines to enable scalable quantum systems.

Formación

• Degree-level qualification in electronics, physics or close field.
• Industry experience in analogue electronic design.
• Experience with PCB design tools including design for manufacture and reliability.
• Understanding of high-frequency and RF circuit design fundamentals.
• Ability to perform hands-on testing with oscilloscopes and spectrum analyzers.
• Knowledge of sound engineering design processes.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsabilidades

• Liaise with multidisciplinary teams to agree requirements and specifications for electronics systems.
• Perform design calculations, simulations and component selection.
• Produce high-quality schematics, system designs and PCB layouts.
• Organise manufacture of prototypes.
• Hands-on testing, debugging and improvement of complex setups.
• Analyze experimental results and data.
• Support use of electronic systems across the company.
• Contribute to project timelines, costs and planning.
