Nu Quantum Ltd. is seeking an early‑career FPGA Engineer to help implement real‑time control systems for quantum networking hardware. The role emphasizes hands‑on development with Xilinx FPGAs, SystemVerilog/Verilog/VHDL, and collaboration across software, hardware, and physics teams.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in SystemVerilog/Verilog/VHDL for FPGA projects.
• Experience with Xilinx FPGAs; Zynq/Ultrascale design exposure preferred.
• Familiarity with SPI, I2C and Ethernet interfaces.
• Experience writing/testbenches and debugging real‑time systems.
• Strong RTL design fundamentals and timing/CDC concepts.
• Python scripting for automation and tooling is beneficial.
• Ability to document technical work clearly and communicate results.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and verify RTL code for Xilinx Zynq/Ultrascale devices.
• Develop, debug, and verify real‑time control systems for quantum networking hardware.
• Collaborate with software and hardware engineers to meet project needs.
• Contribute to documentation, test plans, and technical reports.
• Assist in automation of tool flows, CI/CD pipelines, and releases.
• Support Artiq Sinara hardware and future platform iterations.
• Work with physicists and engineers to capture requirements and provide solutions.
