Nu Quantum Ltd in Cambridge, UK is seeking an early-career FPGA Engineer with hands-on university/project experience in electronic engineering or computer engineering. Proficiency with Xilinx FPGAs and Zynq/Ultrascale is ideal, though not essential, as you will join a multidisciplinary team.

You will contribute to real-time control systems for quantum networking, develop RTL and embedded code, and work with ARTIQ Sinara hardware and CERN White Rabbit technology, collaborating with software,

Formación

• Foundational understanding of digital design and RTL principles.
• Experience with FPGA development, ideally Xilinx or Altera devices.
• Familiarity with SPI, I2C, Ethernet and testbenches.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and verify RTL code in SystemVerilog, Verilog, VHDL for Xilinx Zynq/Ultrascale devices.
• Design and verify Embedded code in C/Rust.
• Develop, debug and verify real-time control systems using ARTIQ Sinara hardware.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to develop hardware subsystems.
• Contribute to tool flows, CI/CD pipelines and automated releases.
