Job summary

Contek Recruitment Solutions Ltd is seeking a Senior Maintenance Engineer with an Electrical bias for our client in Willenhall, West Midlands. The role is hands-on and focuses on maintaining plant and equipment, leading the maintenance team, and coordinating contractors to ensure uptime.

You will diagnose electrical faults, carry out preventative maintenance, and drive improvements while working within a busy industrial environment.

Qualifications

• Strong electrical maintenance experience required.
• Proven fault-finding and diagnostic ability.
• Experience with planned preventative maintenance.
• Good knowledge of industrial electrical systems and controls.
• Experience leading and supporting engineers.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the site maintenance team.
• Carry out planned and preventative maintenance.
• Complete electrical diagnostics and fault-finding.
• Respond to machinery breakdowns and minimise downtime.
• Own preventative maintenance systems.
• Ensure plant safety, reliability and regulatory compliance.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and inspection logs.
• Coordinate external contractors and specialist engineers.
• Collaborate with production to maximise plant availability.
• Promote safe working practices across site.
• Identify recurring faults and drive corrective actions.
