Job summary

Winsearch is seeking a Lead Electrical Maintenance Engineer to support the Maintenance Manager in leading direct and wider teams to keep production running smoothly. You will supervise technicians daily and drive projects from concept to delivery, ensuring safe, efficient operations at the Wigan site.

Key responsibilities include promoting the CMMS, prioritising maintenance, and diagnosing issues across equipment with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a maintenance role within a manufacturing environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong technical fault-finding and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience working within highly regulated environments.
• Strong commitment to health, safety, and maintaining the highest standards of work.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day supervision of technicians and support the Maintenance Manager.
• Promote and utilise the CMMS with detailed inputs from the team.
• Monitor equipment condition and report abnormalities and risks.
• Plan and prioritise preventative maintenance and critical activities.
• Identify replacement parts and manage changes where needed.
• Ensure tasks are completed safely and audit performance.
