Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is seeking an experienced electrically biased engineer to oversee coordination, reporting and electrical maintenance across our renewable operations in the UK. You will manage on-site electrical works, ensuring planned, reactive and remedial activities are delivered safely and to statutory standards.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate planned electrical maintenance and remedial works on site.
• Ensure works are completed within agreed timescales with safety and compliance.
• Review RAMS and site documentation using company templates.
• supervise electricians and electrical subcontractors where applicable.
• Ensure electrical activities comply with regulations, procedures and client requirements.
• Review drawings and scopes of work to inform execution.
• Manage permits to work, isolations and safe systems of work.
• Deliver site inductions, toolbox talks and safety briefings.
• Maintain accurate site records and provide progress updates.
• Coordinate electrical inspection, testing and certification.

Education

BS 7671 18th Edition

NVQ Level 3 or equivalent with CSCS Gold card
