Job summary

Mott MacDonald Bentley is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to contribute to water and wastewater projects in the UK, driving electrical design across new and legacy installations. You will mentor graduates, review specifications, and collaborate with clients to ensure project goals are met.

The role requires a relevant degree, chartered or incorporated status, and willingness to travel to sites across the regional operating area.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering as a minimum.
• Chartered or Incorporated member of a professional institution (IET or equivalent).
• Water or wastewater treatment experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review electrical engineering designs for water treatment equipment on client sites, including MCCs, LV distribution, cabling, control philosophies, instrumentation, industrial networks, PLCs and SCADA.
• Produce and review technical specifications and schedules for procurement, review supplier bids and submissions.
• Supervise and mentor Graduates and Engineers to develop their knowledge and skills.
• Contribute to design standards with knowledge of Client and WIMES standards.
• Engage with the client to build relationships and support project aims.
