Job summary

Stantec Consulting International Ltd. is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our Water team across multiple UK locations including London, High Wycombe, Reading, Brighton or Southampton.

You will deliver electrical and EICA designs for major water projects from concept to construction, and mentor junior engineers within a multidisciplinary team. The role offers exposure to diverse water infrastructure projects, with opportunities to advance technical expertise and shape project delivery

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Experience delivering electrical or EICA design in water/utility/industrial contexts.
• Experience producing electrical calculations, technical specifications and design documentation.
• Knowledge of low voltage electrical systems and control philosophies.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working within multidisciplinary engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Deliver electrical and EICA designs from feasibility through construction support.
• Produce Single Line Diagrams, Block Cable Diagrams, Network Infrastructure Diagrams and specs.
• Develop electrical calculations, control philosophies and equipment schedules.
• Support design reviews, HAZOPs and technical workshops.
• Mentor graduate and junior engineers while contributing to technical excellence.
