Job summary

Advance TRS is seeking a degree-qualified Electrical Engineer to join its forward-thinking engineering consultancy. You will deliver EICA design solutions for clean water and wastewater projects across the UK, from concept to detailed design, while coordinating multidisciplinary teams and guiding junior engineers.

The role emphasizes strong communication, leadership, and a solid background in electrical power systems and water treatment controls.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Strong communication and leadership capabilities.
• Experience with multidisciplinary design teams.

Responsibilities

• Deliver EICA design solutions for clean water and wastewater projects from concept to detail design.
• Produce outputs such as SLDs, cable block diagrams, control system architecture, MCC datasheets and load schedules.
• Act as a technical specialist; provide guidance and input to project teams.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary designs and manage interfaces across project teams.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, JV partners and clients.
• Review bids, subcontractor designs and provide on-site technical support.
• Mentor junior engineers and support their professional development.
• Define and manage project budgets, schedules and quality requirements.
