Job summary

Stantec is hiring an Electrical Engineer to join the Water team in High Wycombe or Brighton. You will contribute to electrical and EICA designs across water infrastructure projects, working with senior engineers and multidisciplinary teams to develop high-quality engineering solutions.

You will participate in design reviews, site visits and mentoring to advance your technical development, with opportunities for career progression within Stantec's UK water business.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Dozens of years of design experience is not required but relevant engineering design experience.
• Knowledge of electrical engineering principles and standards.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Proactive approach to learning and professional development.

Responsibilities

• Assist with electrical and EICA design from feasibility through to detailed design and construction support.
• Produce design calculations, drawings, schedules and technical specifications.
• Develop Single Line Diagrams, Block Cable Diagrams and Network Infrastructure Diagrams.
• Collaborate with project managers, clients and contractors to deliver solutions.
• Participate in design reviews, site visits and technical workshops.
• Pursue structured learning and mentoring to grow technical expertise.
