Job summary

Stantec Consulting International Ltd. is seeking a Principal Electrical Engineer to join our Water team in Newcastle or Leeds.

You will provide technical leadership across major EICA projects, overseeing feasibility through to detailed design and construction support while upholding engineering governance and developing client relationships. You will mentor engineers, review deliverables such as diagrams and specifications, contribute to bids and framework growth, and help drive continuous

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Chartered Engineer (CEng) or IEng) or equivalent experience.
• Significant experience delivering electrical or EICA design within water or comparable infrastructure.
• Proven experience leading multidisciplinary engineering projects.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership across major EICA projects from feasibility to construction support.
• Produce and review electrical deliverables including SLDs, block diagrams, specifications and calculations.
• Mentor developing engineers and strengthen client relationships while driving framework growth.
• Contribute to bids, governance, and continuous improvement across the Electrical Engineering discipline.
