Job summary

Suir Engineering in Scotland is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join the UK EP&R team. The role is hybrid, based in Kilmarnock, and covers the Scottish region with a focus on electrical design for HV systems and renewable projects.

You will lead the development and delivery of electrical schemes, coordinate with clients and multidisciplinary teams, and support project handover while contributing to safety, quality and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Third-level degree in Electrical Engineering with 2+ years’ experience as an Electrical Project Engineer in HV Energy and Renewable Sector.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Willingness to travel to sites in Scotland region.

Responsibilities

• Development and review of schematic drawings and single line diagrams.
• HV system studies including protection coordination, arc flash, voltage regulation, load flow and fault level reports.
• Pre-commissioning and commissioning of GIS and AIS Substations.
• Prepare technical and contract documentation for issue and liaise with clients and contractors.
• Monitor progress against the program and prepare progress reports.
