Job summary

Suir Engineering Ltd in Scotland is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead HV/LV electrical design on EP&R projects in Kilmarnock. You will develop and review schematic drawings, single line diagrams, and HV system studies, coordinating protection, arc flash studies, and load flow analyses.

You will oversee pre-commissioning and commissioning of GIS and AIS substations, prepare technical specifications and enquiry documents, monitor progress, and liaise with clients and the design

Responsibilities

• Develop and review schematic drawings and single line diagrams.
• Develop HV system studies including protection coordination, arc flash, voltage regulation, load flow and fault level reports.
• Pre-commissioning and commissioning of GIS and AIS Substations.
• Prepare technical specifications and enquiry documentation.
• Monitor progress against the program and issue progress reports.
• Liaise with clients and design team on technical issues.
