Job summary

AECOM Limited in the United Kingdom is seeking a Senior OHL Engineer to lead overhead line design for high‑voltage transmission projects. You will provide technical support across multidisciplinary teams and help shape routes, analyses, and deliverables for complex 400kV schemes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent.
• Chartered Engineer (CEng) or recognized electrical engineering institution.
• Experience delivering UK transmission projects (National Grid, SSE, etc.).
• Project experience in overhead line engineering up to 400kV.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide project technical support for overhead line design.
• Deliver OHL design on complex multi‑discipline projects.
• Contribute to large programmes like UK Grid upgrades.
• Support in feasibility studies, tendering, and client presentations.
• Produce engineering deliverables and drawings and perform quality checks.
