Job summary

Construkt RS Ltd. is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer in Milton Keynes to lead the design and delivery of electrical building services across varied sectors.

You will manage projects from concept through to completion, ensuring high-quality, compliant solutions. The role requires delivering calculations, specifications and drawings using AutoCAD and Revit, with strong knowledge of British Standards and Building Regulations.

Qualifications

• Degree or HNC/HND in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering.
• Experience in electrical building services design within a consultancy.
• Strong knowledge of British Standards and Building Regulations.
• Experience producing electrical calculations, specifications and drawings.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit and electrical calculation packages.
• Excellent communication, organisational and project management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of electrical building services projects from concept through to completion.
• Produce electrical design calculations, specifications, drawings and technical reports.
• Design electrical systems including power distribution, lighting, emergency lighting, fire alarm and containment systems.
• Ensure designs comply with relevant British Standards, Building Regulations and industry legislation.
• Manage project deliverables, budgets and deadlines.
• Liaise with clients, architects, contractors and other building services disciplines.
• Attend design meetings, site visits and inspections as required.
• Review and check designs produced by junior engineers, providing technical guidance and mentoring.
• Identify opportunities to improve energy efficiency, sustainability and overall design performance.

About the Role

A specilaist building services consultancy is seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join its growing team of building services professionals. This is an excellent opportunity for an established electrical engineer to lead the design and delivery of electrical building services projects across a range of sectors, ensuring high-quality, efficient and compliant solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of electrical building services projects from concept through to completion.
• Produce electrical design calculations, specifications, drawings and technical reports.
• Design electrical systems including power distribution, lighting, emergency lighting, fire alarm and containment systems.
• Ensure designs comply with relevant British Standards, Building Regulations and industry legislation.
