Job summary

Search Consultancy LTD is seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join a growing Building Services Consultancy in City of London. You will lead electrical design on commercial, residential, and education projects from concept to completion, mentor junior engineers, and liaise with clients across diverse developments.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering.
• Proven experience in a Building Services Consultancy environment.
• Strong background delivering commercial, residential, and education projects.
• Proficient with Amtech, Dialux/Relux, AutoCAD, and Revit.
• Strong communication and client-facing skills.
• Experience managing multiple projects and mentoring junior team members.

This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong engineer who can lead projects, mentor junior engineers, and work closely with clients across a diverse portfolio of developments.

The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality electrical design solutions across a range of commercial, residential, and education sector projects, from concept through to completion.

Requirements

• Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering (or equivalent).
• Proven experience working within a Building Services Consultancy environment.
• Strong background delivering commercial, residential, and education projects.
• Proficient with industry software such as Amtech, Dialux/Relux, AutoCAD, and Revit.
• Strong communication and client-facing skills.
• Experience managing multiple projects and supporting junior team members.
• Working towards or already holding Chartered Engineer status would be advantageous.
