Beeby Anderson Recruitment is seeking a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to lead electrical building services projects from concept to completion. Join a respected UK consultancy and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams while mentoring junior engineers on challenging, sustainable solutions.

You will drive design through all stages, attend client meetings, and build strong client relationships, delivering high-quality results across healthcare, education, commercial, residential and more.

Qualifications

• Degree, HNC or HND in Electrical or Building Services Engineering.
• Around 4+ years’ experience within a Building Services consultancy.
• Experience delivering electrical building services designs across multiple sectors.
• Knowledge of UK Building Regulations and relevant British Standards.
• Experience using industry‑standard software including Revit, Amtech, Relux or Dialux.
• An understanding of HV/LV systems, renewable technologies and sustainable design principles.
• Excellent communication and client‑facing skills.
• Working towards, or already holding, Chartered Engineer status through CIBSE or the IET.

As a Senior Electrical Design Engineer, you’ll take ownership of electrical building services projects from concept through to completion, working alongside multidisciplinary teams and developing long‑term relationships with clients.

Requirements

You’ll be an experienced Electrical Building Services Engineer with a passion for quality design and delivering exceptional client service.

Ideally, you’ll have:

• Degree, HNC or HND in Electrical or Building Services Engineering.

• Experience delivering electrical building services designs across multiple sectors.
• Knowledge of UK Building Regulations and relevant British Standards.
