Job summary

AECOM is seeking an experienced Electrical Associate Director to lead electrical design for hyperscale data centres in the UK and across EMEA. You will mentor teams, drive technical excellence, and shape strategic delivery for resilient, low‑carbon outcomes.

You will define power architectures, oversee design across feasibility to handover, and coordinate with mechanical, architectural, and ICT interfaces to deliver fully integrated solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering electrical design across feasibility to handover for data centre projects.
• Proven ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams and client engagement.
• Strong background in power systems, protection schemes, and control integration.

Responsibilities

• Own electrical design across all design stages and procurement support.
• Define power architectures including MV/LV, UPS, generators, switchgear, and lighting.
• Lead power systems studies and protection design using ETAP/SKM; coordinate interfaces with MEP and ICT.
