Job summary

PDMS Group is seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Designer to join the Electrical Engineering team on a full-time, ongoing contract based in Aberdeen or Glasgow with a flexible hybrid model (2 days remote).

You will develop deliverables for Brownfield modifications on UKCS offshore platforms, working with 2D/3D AutoCAD and MS Office. Offshore surveys may be required; BOSIET/FOET readiness is preferred.

About The Role

PD&MS Group are now looking for an experienced Senior Electrical Designer to join our Electrical Engineering team on a full-time, on-going contract basis. This role can be based in our Aberdeen or Glasgow office on a flexible hybrid working model where 2 days per week can be worked remotely.

The role primarily involves development of deliverable for Brownfield modification on UKCS Offshore Platforms/Installations. Scopes are off varying complexity from modifications to lighting/small power/trace heating to replacement of switchgear.

Suitable candidates must hold a valid BOSIET/FOET ready to mobilise, when required for completion of Offshore Surveys as and when required. Candidates must be able to utilise 2D and 3D Autocad and be familiar with MS Office applications.

Key duties:

We’d like you to have a HND in a relevant subject and previous experience in detail design with an awareness of other disciplines. You need to be competent and have an interest in working with AutoDesk design products.
