Job summary

PD&MS Energy (Aberdeen) Ltd. seeks a Senior Electrical Designer to join the Electrical Engineering team on a full-time contract. The role is based in Aberdeen or Glasgow with a flexible hybrid model allowing 2 days of remote work.

The position focuses on Brownfield modification deliverables for UKCS Offshore Platforms/Installations, using 2D/3D AutoCAD and AutoDesk tools. Offshore surveys may be required, with BOSIET/FOET ready to mobilise.

Qualifications

• HND in a relevant subject is required.
• Previous experience in detail design with awareness of other disciplines.
• Competent and interested in AutoDesk design products.

Responsibilities

• Creates and checks engineering designs.
• Ensures designs meet project requirements.
• Input to project plans.
• Identify areas of concern during any project or study.
• Produce cost-effective engineering solutions that are fit for purpose, safe and add value.
• Address operational and maintenance issues in the design and liaise with colleagues for the best solution.
• Undertake surveys, both onshore and offshore.
