Job summary

PD&MS Group is seeking a Structural Engineer on a full-time contract basis, based in Aberdeen or Glasgow with a flexible hybrid model (2 days remote). The ideal candidate will have brownfield pipe support design experience, bolted connections, and proven detail design capability.

Proficiency in AutoDesk products and STAAD Pro is essential. You will contribute to design for oil and gas, renewables and nuclear sectors, collaborating with a friendly team to deliver safe, cost-effective

About The Role

About The RoleDue to a high demand in delivery of flowline work PD&MS Group have a requirement for a structural engineer to come on board on a full-time on-going contract basis. This role can be based in our Aberdeen or Glasgow office on a flexible hybrid working model where 2 days per week can be worked remotely. We are seeking candidates with previous experience in brownfield pipe support design incorporating bolted connections. Experience in use of STAAD Pro is essential.Do you enjoy a challenge? Key Duties

Identify the scope of work requiredInput to project plans and schedules. Identify areas of concern during any project or study. Produce cost-effective engineering solutions that are fit for purpose, safe and add value to address operational and maintenance issues in the design and liaise with colleagues for the best solutionSupervise the time of others

About You

Our ideal candidate will enjoy team working, will be customer and quality focused, can use their own initiative and will be responsive to our business and client needs.

We’d like you to have a degree in a relevant subject and significant previous experience in detail design with an understanding of other disciplines. You need to have some experience and an interest in working with AutoDesk products.
