Energy Jobline CVL is seeking an ambitious Electrical Design Engineer to join one of London’s fastest-growing M&E consultancies. Lead and mentor within a growing team while delivering high-quality building services designs from concept to completion.

You will work on Data Centre and other sectors, coordinating with clients, architects and engineers, and ensuring designs comply with BS and Building Regulations. London-based, with opportunities to progress into leadership roles.

Qualificações

• 3–5 years' experience as an Electrical Design Engineer in building services.
• Degree in Electrical Engineering or Building Services.
• Experience with Data Centre projects.
• Proficiency in Amtech, Dialux and AutoCAD; Revit desirable.
• Strong communication and site presence in London.

Responsabilidades

• Design electrical building services systems across sectors including Data Centres, Commercial, Residential, and Education.
• Produce electrical calculations, specifications and technical reports.
• Design LV distribution, lighting, small power, emergency lighting, and fire alarms.
• Coordinate with MEP and architects using BIM/Revit where appropriate.
• Attend client meetings, site visits and design team meetings.
• Support project delivery through RIBA stages and ensure BS compliance.

As the company grows, you'll have the chance to take on greater responsibility, mentor junior engineers and ultimately lead your own design team.

You'll be responsible for delivering high-quality electrical building services designs from concept through to completion, working closely with clients, architects and the wider engineering team.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Designing electrical building services systems across a range of sectors including Data Centres, Commercial, Residential and Education.
• Producing electrical calculations, specifications and technical reports.
• Designing LV distribution, lighting, small power, emergency lighting, fire alarms and other building services systems.
• Coordinating designs with mechanical engineers, architects and structural engineers using BIM/Revit where appropriate.
• Attending client meetings, site visits and design team meetings.
• Supporting project delivery through all RIBA stages.
• Ensuring designs comply with current British Standards and Building Regulations.

The Ideal Candidate

• 3-5 years' experience as an Electrical Design Engineer within a Building Services consultancy.
• Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering.
• Experience Data Centres
• Proficient in Amtech, Dialux and AutoCAD, with Revit experience being highly desirable.
• Strong communication skills with the confidence to liaise directly with clients and project teams.
• Able to attend project sites across London as required.
• A proactive mindset with the ambition to progress into a senior or leadership position.
