Orion Electrotech Ltd is seeking a Senior Electrical & Controls Design Engineer in Surrey to take ownership of electrical design across new and existing products. You will develop architectures, schematics, and detailed control-panel layouts while producing manufacturing documentation.

Qualifikationen

• A degree or relevant qualification in electrical engineering or a related discipline.
• Hands-on experience designing electrical and control systems for industrial machinery.
• Experience producing electrical schematics, control panel layouts, wiring diagrams and associated manufacturing documentation.
• Knowledge of LV electrical distribution, protection, cable sizing and component selection.
• Working knowledge of BS7671 and EN 60204.
• Experience using electrical CAD software such as EPLAN, AutoCAD Electrical or SolidWorks Electrical.
• Experience selecting and configuring PLC hardware, ideally Siemens.
• Practical involvement in equipment builds, testing, commissioning or troubleshooting.

• Take ownership of electrical design activities across new and existing products.
• Develop electrical architectures, single-line diagrams, schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Produce manufacturing documentation: panel layouts, cable schedules and component specifications.
• Support panel builds, FAT testing, commissioning and qualification.
• Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and team members.
