Job summary

Orion Group in the Highlands is seeking a Senior Civil Design Engineer to lead and deliver civil design across renewables, power and transmission projects. You will work with multidisciplinary teams from feasibility and concept through to detailed design and construction support.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Senior Civil Design Engineer with proven delivery experience.
• Experience in Renewables, Power, Transmission or related sectors would be advantageous.
• Proficiency in 3D modelling and civil design software.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of civil engineering projects.
• Produce designs, drawings, specifications and technical reports.
• Develop and manage 3D models using industry-standard software.
• Coordinate designs with internal disciplines and stakeholders.
• Mentor junior engineers and technicians.
• Ensure designs comply with standards and client requirements.
• Participate in design reviews and project planning.
• Provide technical support during construction and delivery.
