Job summary

EnerSys is seeking a Senior Electrical & Controls Engineer in Newport, Wales, to lead high‑voltage electrical and controls initiatives across our production equipment and facility systems. You will design, implement, and validate automation solutions, collaborating with maintenance and operations to improve safety and reliability.

Ability to troubleshoot complex electrical and controls issues.
Experience leading projects from concept to implementation.

Responsibilities

Provide support for maintenance, monitoring, testing of HV equipment and switchgear.
Lead electrical and controls engineering projects from concept through implementation.
Support modernization of manufacturing equipment and production systems.
Troubleshoot complex electrical and controls issues across the facility.
Collaborate with OEMs, contractors, and system integrators on upgrades.
