Job summary

Davies Group in the United Kingdom is seeking a knowledgeable liability claims handler to join our claims team. You will manage the end-to-end process from recording to settlement, focusing on claims often exceeding the fast track limit, and work with insurers to uphold our service standards.

You will establish cover, investigate, decide liability, negotiate settlements, and ensure adherence to timescales and SLAs. The role values teamwork, clear communication, and a proactive approach.

Qualifications

• Experience handling liability claims and common injury types.
• Strong knowledge of insurance processes and legal timing
• Ability to negotiate settlements within defined limits

Responsibilities

• Establish cover for claims and record them on the claims system.
• Investigate liability claims from desk or with loss adjusters.
• Make liability decisions and negotiate settlements.
