Job summary

Matchtech is seeking a Senior/Principal Electrical, Instrumentation, Control & Automation (EICA) Engineer for the water sector based in Manchester with hybrid working. You will lead engineering design activities through feasibility, conceptual design, and detailed design, coordinating with clients and the supply chain.

You will manage a small team, review crucial deliverables, ensure compliance with relevant UK legislation and safety standards, and support project handover.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical, Electronic or Control Engineering
• Chartered or Incorporated engineer status or working towards titles
• Experience in water sector design and documentation approval
• Knowledge of UK legislation, ATEX, PED and CE/UKCA marking
• Strong communication and safety mindset

Responsibilities

• Manage a small team of engineers and designers to deliver multiple projects
• Approval of Electrical, Control and Instrumentation deliverables
