Job summary

Matchtech is recruiting a Principal/Senior EICA Engineer in the Water sector. Location varies across England with hybrid working. Lead electrical design across projects, guiding multidisciplinary teams to deliver compliant, cost-effective solutions.

You will develop practical engineering strategies, review calculations and support bids, while mentoring staff and upholding safety and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

Degree in Electrical Engineering required
Experience delivering electrical design solutions in water/wastewater sector preferred
Strong understanding of LV/HV power distribution and control systems
Ability to lead multidisciplinary design projects across teams

Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate delivery of complex electrical engineering designs within the water and wastewater sector
Provide technical leadership across multidisciplinary project teams
Develop practical, risk-balanced engineering solutions
Produce, review and approve electrical calculations, specifications, reports, drawings and design documentation
Support major project bids and contribute to delivery strategies
Mentor engineers and designers and develop technical capability
Promote safety, quality and engineering excellence across projects
