Job summary

Kintec Global Recruitment is seeking a Senior EICA Engineer (Water) in Manchester on a hybrid basis. This permanent role offers up to £70,000 plus benefits and a clear progression path.

You will design and deliver EICA solutions for water projects, liaise with clients and contractors, and support site activities through concept to commissioning. The ideal candidate has strong EICA design experience, solid electrical/control knowledge, and chartered status or progress toward it, with excellent

Qualifications

• Strong experience in EICA design within the water sector (mandate).
• Solid understanding of electrical and control systems, including MCCs, telemetry, and instrumentation.
• Experience spanning both design and project delivery.
• Chartered, or working towards chartered status.
• Comfortable engaging directly with clients and site teams.

Responsibilities

• Deliver EICA design across water and wastewater projects.
• Produce and review key deliverables, including load schedules, MCCs, and instrumentation.
• Support projects from concept through to construction.
• Work collaboratively with clients, contractors, and internal teams.
• Support site surveys and commissioning activities.
• Respond to technical queries throughout delivery.
• Ensure compliance with relevant UK standards, including WIMES and ATEX.
