Zusammenfassung

UK Power Networks is seeking a Project Engineer for EHV Construction (SAP) to manage delivery of high‑voltage construction projects in the Kent region. You will report to the Lead Project Engineer and work within the Investment Delivery team to ensure safe, timely and compliant execution of capital works.

The role requires experience with 400V–132kV assets, a Senior Authorised Person qualification, and a solid understanding of CDM and HV systems.

Qualifikationen

• Senior Authorised Person as defined by the Distribution Safety Rules; preferable 132kV or 33kV, training available.
• Experience in distribution systems through 400V to 132kV.
• Educated to minimum HNC in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Working knowledge of distribution HV Systems.
• Knowledge of Building Services Systems.
• Read schematic drawings and understand content.
• Hold full driving licence.
• Use Microsoft Office suite and related software.
• Relevant safety qualification such as IOSH or NEBOSH.
• Knowledge of CDM Regulations.

Aufgaben

• Coordinate and deliver construction/installation activities within allocated projects.
• Ensure delivery of HV construction programmes to time, budget and quality targets.
• Manage site teams including contractors and staff on site.
• Support procurement governance and change management.
• Develop and implement site H&S procedures and adhere to safety rules.
• Represent the company in meetings with clients and contractors.
