Job summary

UK Power Networks seeks a Senior Authorised Person (EHV) to lead construction activities for assets from 400V to 132kV in Kent. You will manage construction programmes, budgets, and safety compliance while coordinating with Project Managers, Supervisors and contractors to deliver on time and within budget.

The role requires extensive EHV distribution experience, an HNC in Electrical Engineering or equivalent, and a valid driving licence. Training can be provided for 11kV as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Senior Authorised Person, preferably at 132kV or 33kV, with training for 11kV.
• Strong track record in distribution systems up to 132kV.
• HNC in Electrical Engineering or equivalent; full driving licence essential.

Responsibilities

• Deliver construction programmes for assets from 400V to 132kV.
• Manage budgets, safety policy compliance and both reactive and planned construction.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Supervisors, and Contractors to keep time, cost and quality.
• Provide technical leadership and act for Construction Manager when required.
