UK Power Networks (Operations) Ltd is seeking an EHV Project Construction Engineer SAP in Kent to deliver construction programmes for assets from 400V to 132kV, coordinating with project teams and contractors. The role emphasises safety, budget control, and timely delivery within a structured programme environment.

The ideal candidate holds Senior Authorised Person status (132kV/33kV) or has training in 11kV, with a relevant Electrical Engineering qualification and a full driving licence.

Qualifications

• Holds Senior Authorised Person status (132kV or 33kV; training for 11kV provided) or equivalent.
• Experience with distribution systems up to 132kV.
• Full driving licence is essential.
• Knowledge of Building Services Systems, CDM Regulations, and safety qualifications is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Deliver construction programmes for assets operating from 400V to 132kV.
• Manage budgets, coordinate with Project Managers, Supervisors and contractors, and ensure time, cost and quality targets.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety policies and Distribution Safety Rules.
• Act as technical reference, support project stakeholders, and deputise for Construction Manager as needed.
