Job summary

Databricks is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect focused on EDW migrations in London. You will drive migration strategies, design scalable processes, and partner with product and account teams to migrate on-prem EDW workloads to the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform.

You will collaborate with regional leadership to mentor presales teams, develop assets and guides, and deliver high-impact demonstrations and strategy sessions for large-scale adoption across EMEA.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of customer-facing experience in pre-sales, architect, or consulting roles.
• Experience migrating legacy EDW to modern platforms and databases.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Hands-on with Spark, Python and SQL in data environments.
• Public cloud design and implementation across AWS, Azure or GCP.

Responsibilities

• Lead regional migration strategy with EMEA GTM leadership and accounts.
• Develop scalable migration processes and detailed technical guides.
• Build and integrate automated assessment tooling for migrations.
• Act as Tier-3 escalation for complex migrations in must-win accounts.
• Mentor the EMEA SA community to ensure scalable migration delivery.
• Provide feedback to Product Management and Engineering from field experiences.
• Publish technical content and present at conferences to position the platform.
