Job summary

EPAM Systems in London seeks a Senior Platform Engineering Consultant – Databricks to lead end-to-end Databricks-centric platform delivery. You will act as the main liaison between client stakeholders and delivery teams to ensure scalable, cloud-native solutions that drive business outcomes.

You will bring deep Databricks expertise, strong AWS knowledge, and experience with data visualization tools like Tableau and SAP integrations.

Qualifications

8+ years in platform/data engineering or related roles.
Extensive Databricks experience; certifications are a plus.
Strong knowledge of AWS services and cloud-native tech.
Experience with data visualization, BI tools, and reporting.
Client-facing experience and ability to drive solutions.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end Databricks-centric platform delivery with focus on scalability and AI capabilities.
Act as main liaison between technical teams and client stakeholders to manage expectations.
Design and implement Databricks-centric platforms and data products.
Guide teams in leveraging AWS storage and compute for optimization.
Integrate with Tableau for actionable visualizations and SAP data flows.
Identify blockers and promote best practices in platform engineering and DevOps.
Conduct regular progress reviews with client stakeholders.
Contribute to architecture, documentation, and knowledge sharing.
