Job summary

EPAM Systems in London is seeking a Senior Databricks Consultant – Data & AI Engineering to drive enterprise data and AI initiatives. You will lead data solution design, architecture, and end-to-end delivery while collaborating with senior stakeholders and client teams.

You will embed with client teams to build scalable data pipelines and AI/ML systems on Databricks, and actively participate in pre-sales to grow EPAM’s engagements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field or relevant work experience.
• Extensive experience in Data & AI, building enterprise data and ML/AI platforms.
• Proven expertise with Databricks, including hands-on implementation experience and certifications.
• Strong background in solution architecture on major cloud providers (Azure, AWS).
• 10+ years of experience in software engineering, machine learning or advanced data engineering roles.
• Engages and influences senior stakeholders; leads delivery teams.
• Experience in pre-sales and growing client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients to understand their business needs and data requirements.
• Design, develop and implement data solutions using Databricks.
• Engage with senior stakeholders on decision-making.
• Rapid prototyping to production: translate ambiguous business problems into functional technical solutions.
• Architect and deliver end-to-end data solutions.
• Hands-on co-development: embed with client/EPAM teams to build data pipelines and AI/ML systems on Databricks.
• Lead delivery teams to ensure successful project outcomes and client satisfaction.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships and act as trusted advisor.
• Drive revenue within the client/account portfolio by identifying opportunities and influence/sell-in EPAM services.
