Job summary

Sense College in Knapwell is seeking a Senior Education Support Worker to join our employability team. The role is 7 hours per week supporting a small group of students aged 16-25 with learning, sensory and physical disabilities on work placements and employability activities.

You will work within the employment programme, using assessments to plan learning and provide positive behavioural support as needed. The role is pivotal in helping students reach aspirational goals.

Qualifications

• Experience in teaching environment and supporting learners.
• Ability to assess and plan learning for students with diverse needs.
• Knowledge of behavioural support strategies for learners.

Responsibilities

• Support students on work placements and employability sessions.
• Assist in careers activities and the employability programme.
• Help students reach aspirational goals within Sense College.

Skills

Experience in teaching environment
