Job summary

ID Logistics is seeking a Senior Ecommerce Operations Specialist to provide operational leadership across the UK network, supporting start-ups, launches, and continuous improvement initiatives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. You will drive readiness for new customer implementations, hypercare, and performance improvements while maintaining safety and governance standards.

The role requires strong analytical skills, experience leading large teams, and the ability to travel across the UK

Qualifications

• Proven operational leadership experience in e-commerce fulfilment, warehousing, or 3PL environments.
• Experience supporting start-ups, customer implementations, operational transformation, and performance improvement initiatives.
• Strong understanding of warehouse operations, labour management, KPIs, SLAs, and customer service.
• Experience leading large teams and managing stakeholders in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Act as a trusted partner to the Head of Operations, providing leadership support across the UK network.
• Support sites through operational challenges, change, start-ups, and stabilisation periods.
• Lead operational readiness for new customer implementations and warehouse start-ups.
• Provide hypercare support during mobilisation and launch phases.
• Monitor performance, manage escalations, and support the transition to business-as-usual operations.
• Identify and deliver improvements in productivity, service, quality, and cost performance.
• Drive Continuous Improvement and Operational Excellence initiatives.
• Build strong relationships with customers and key stakeholders.
• Support governance meetings and ensure service commitments are delivered.
