Job summary

Better Placed is seeking an experienced Ecommerce Merchandiser to drive category performance across our consumer brand's online presence. You will optimise category pages, product listings, and navigation, while coordinating launches and promotions to maximise online sales.

Reports into the Head of Ecommerce, and uses data to test, learn, and refine onsite content, pricing, and customer journeys. A strong Excel skillset and ERP experience are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Ideally 5+ years' experience in ecommerce/B2C environment.
• Ideally experience using Microsoft Dynamics ERP and forecasting tools.
• Advanced Excel skills with formulas to manage data.
• Proven analytical skills to interpret forecasts, stock data, lead times, trends.

Responsibilities

• Optimise category pages, collections, and product listings to improve visibility and conversion
• Ensure products are correctly positioned across the site (bestsellers, seasonal ranges, key campaigns)
• Improve navigation, filters, sorting, and onsite search performance
• Support strategies to increase AOV through cross-sells, upsells, and bundling opportunities
• Use data and insights to test, learn, and improve onsite content and customer journeys.
• Own the end-to-end merchandising process for new product launches online
• Coordinate launch timelines with marketing, product, and operations teams
• Support launch campaigns by ensuring products are featured in the right places at the right time.
• Manage and maintain accurate product pricing across the website
• Monitor competitor pricing and market trends to identify opportunities
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure pricing aligns with commercial targets and margin goals.
