Job summary

REFY Beauty in Manchester is seeking a highly commercial Senior Ecommerce Manager to own day-to-day performance of REFY’s global DTC business. You will lead ecommerce trading across regional Shopify stores, turning data into actionable plans and owning a 12-month roadmap across CRO, UX, SEO and technical development.

Qualifications

At least 7 years in ecommerce within a consumer brand.
Deep hands-on Shopify experience (Shopify Plus preferred).
Comfort working directly in Shopify, not via agencies.
Strong commercial/analytical skills using GA4 and reporting tools.
Proven ability to build and prioritise an ecommerce growth roadmap.
Experience managing ecommerce development agencies and budgets.
Good knowledge of ecommerce SEO and onsite optimization.
Strong trading instincts with product availability and promotions.
Experience developing and mentoring team members.
Comfort in scale-up environments and hands-on execution.
Able to switch between strategy, analysis, leadership, and delivery.
Credible with senior stakeholders; able to build business cases.
Experience in omnichannel retail, and beauty/fashion a plus.

Responsibilities

Own ecommerce trading performance across REFY’s regional DTC stores, tracking revenue against target and understanding performance drivers.
Lead weekly digital trading and articulate clear commercial story, outlining ahead/behind plan and recommended actions.
Work hands-on with ecommerce data in Shopify, GA4 and reporting tools to interrogate performance and present insights.
Own and deliver a 12‑month ecommerce roadmap across CRO, UX, onsite merchandising, and technical improvements.
Build persuasive business cases for ecommerce investments for Head of Digital and senior leadership.
Remain hands-on within Shopify; manage products, collections, promotions, inventory and day-to-day ops.
Ensure readiness for key trading moments (launches, promotions, Black Friday) with accurate content and pricing.
Oversee the development agency and technical roadmap, briefs, budgets and delivery standards.
Lead CRO/ onsite optimisation roadmap across PDPs, navigation, checkout and cross-sell opportunities.
Own the ecommerce SEO roadmap with agency support and internal stakeholders.
Maintain an omnichannel view, aligning DTC with retailer and bricks-and-mortar performance.
Lead, coach and develop the Ecommerce Manager and future Executives.
Create resilience in the ecommerce team to cover holidays/absences.
Collaborate with Digital Marketing, Brand, Commercial, Product, Operations, Finance, CRM and Customer Service.
